Assuming you are happy with the proposed results we then get your Invislaign aligners (clear braces) printed. You will then wear these to gradually move your teeth into the desired position.

Treatment times vary and depend on your specific case as well as how often you wear your clear aligners. Ideally, you should wear the aligners for 22 hours a day and only remove them to eat, drink, clean your teeth and floss. We also monitor progress to track the gradual changes during treatment.

As a rule of thumb, the closer you are to wearing your aligners for 22 hours the quicker your treatment will be. Generally treatments will take between a few months to a year depending on how much movement is needed. You digital simulation will determine how long your teeth straightening journey will take and we will discuss this with you prior to starting.

After you finish your treatment we will make you a retainer, which is like your aligner but stronger, to wear at night only. Provided you wear this as instructed there is no reason why your teeth should move.

We will advise you how often you have to change your aligners and this will depend on your treatment plan but generally between 7 - 14 days.

Throughout your treatment we will monitor your progress regularly to check your teeth are moving as planned. Assuming your teeth straightening journey is going to plan your dentist would want to see you every 4 to 8 weeks and give you the next set of your Invisalign aligners.
